PPRCC Members,
The Executive Committee is in the process of evaluating a transition to a different club website. The new platform has a lower annual cost and will be easier for our volunteer membership to maintain. Although our current hosting contract runs through June 2027, we are looking at moving to the new site sooner. The main reason for considering an earlier transition is to make the new Members‑Only site available to club members as an additional option.
PPRCC.org will become the club’s primary public website going forward. All of the information you currently rely on will remain available on the public site. If you prefer to continue using only the public site, nothing changes — everything you need will still be there.
As part of the transition, PPRCCPilot.net will eventually redirect to PPRCC.org so members and visitors automatically land on the new site. The existing Wix site will remain online during the transition period, but once the redirect is in place, it will no longer be used.
Access During the Transition
Right now, no account is needed. Both the Public and Members‑Only sites are fully open so you can explore freely.
Click around — you won’t break anything.
Beginning August 15, the Members‑Only site will be secured for current PPRCC members.
Most members already have a Gmail or Google‑associated email. You’ll simply join a secure Google Group to access the private site. Instructions will be sent before August 15.
Members without a Google‑associated email will receive individual guidance on how to link their existing address.
Using the private site is completely optional. It’s simply an additional resource for members who want access to internal documents, articles, and club tools. We expect some members will use it and others may not — either choice is perfectly fine.
The private site is designed to run with very little ongoing maintenance — essentially on autopilot. If interest turns out to be low, we can scale it back or turn it off later without affecting the public site or normal club operations.
Please Help Us Finalize the Transition
This site uses the Google ecosystem, which costs the club only $12 per year compared to approximately $150 per year for our current platform. As we transition to this new system, we’d appreciate your feedback on how well this Google‑based site works for you and whether it meets your needs as a club member.
Will you use the options available on the private Members‑Only site? Which private‑site features interest you?
A quick reminder:
PPRCC is a 100% volunteer‑run club, and the website reflects the time and effort members donate to support the club. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we continue improving it together.

A Major Improvement: Membership Renewal System
The new renewal system will:
Streamline new member enrollments
Simplify renewals
Automatically generate membership badges
Reduce manual data entry
Eliminate repetitive email exchanges
This automation will reduce the Treasurer’s manual workload, improve accuracy, and help us maintain a reliable club roster.
Why We Are Moving

Improved member services
More flexibility for future enhancements
Public Website (PPRCC.org)
The public site is PPRCC’s face to the community. It includes:
Club information

Contact information
Membership information
Members‑Only Website
The private site provides resources for active members:
Club announcements

Future automation features
It is designed to run with minimal maintenance and will remain available as long as members find it useful.
